Leigh & Bryce Tour - Week 1

For two weeks we were fortunate to have our daughter and son in law here for a visit.  Here are some pictures take as we toured them around Italy.

We picked them up from the airport on Wednesday and went straight to Milano to see Leonardo's "Last Supper"  Then on to the Duomo.

This baptistery was found when they were expanding the Duomo. Obviously in ancient times baptism by immersion was he norm.

Next day we went to Cinque Terra  - How about this tee shirt?

 Via D'Amore (lover walk)

The waves were crashing in.  Really exciting!

That evening we went to Pisa

 A fallen angel

After a morning in Pisa we drove to San Gimiagno

 Bella Tuscano

World famous Gelato

 Saturday we went to Firenze

 The uffizi museum

I hate it when this happens

Bronze wild boar fountain that folks were lined up to stick a coin in his mouth and rub his nose for good luck.

That night we had Pizza.  This one is fluori (squash blossom)

After going Church on Sunday we drove to this view point of the city,  Then we dropped Leigh and Bryce off at the train station.  They were on their own to tour Rome and Venice while we went back to the mission office and took care of things for the Mission Tour of Elder Fingerlie.
