Sorrento & Amalfi

Saturday night we wandered around a little trying to find a restaurant.

On Sunday we drove to church and then after church we drove over the mountain to Amalfi.  The Amalfi coast drive has a reputaion of being very narrow, twisty and dangerous.

 This is what the tour book says of the Amalfi coast drive.

 We stopped in Amalfi and walked around.  Just beautiful.  We had lunch here, I had pasta with little peppercorns.  They were very spicy.  Found out later they were Scheshwan pepper corns.  They made your tongue go numb.

 The drive along the coast was awesome and very beautiful.  Traffic was not bad.  But it was Sunday afternoon and it was in January.
